Vaporwave Text
Vaporwave text uses fullwidth forms of ASCII characters. The resulting wide appearance depends on the font; it is not guaranteed to be twice as wide in pixels.

The Exact Mapping
This engine maps ASCII U+0021–U+007E to U+FF01–U+FF5E, preserving the offset. A (U+0041) becomes A (U+FF21). An ordinary space becomes an ideographic space (U+3000). Other characters pass through unchanged. The containing block is Halfwidth and Fullwidth Forms, U+FF00–U+FFEF.
Spacing and Mixed Styles
The conversion does not insert an extra separator between every letter. If you want A B C with visible gaps, type the gaps yourself. There is no combined fullwidth italic alphabet here; to mix styles, copy separate fullwidth and italic segments. Monospace and bracketed text are comparison options.
Short Retro Headings
Try a short heading, label or fictional playlist title, with the details in ordinary text. Wide letters can wrap earlier on a narrow screen. Check the final editor, since visual width and the platform’s character allowance are independent.
Three Different Treatments of the Same Phrase
Wide Text changes punctuation along with letters and digits. For example, A! 9 becomes A! 9: the exclamation mark changes, and the ordinary space becomes an ideographic space. The four input characters remain four code points and four UTF-16 units after conversion.
| Input | Wide output | Code point |
|---|---|---|
| ! | ! | U+FF01 |
| ~ | ~ | U+FF5E |
| Space | Ideographic space | U+3000 |
Monospace maps basic Latin letters and digits instead. Its digit range is U+1D7F6–U+1D7FF; punctuation and ordinary spaces remain unchanged. Wide Text also leaves precomposed é, 中, tabs and line breaks untouched.
The Brackets comparison keeps letters ordinary and surrounds space-separated segments with U+3010 and U+3011. Two consecutive spaces matter: a b becomes 【a】 【】 【b】, including an empty bracket pair. This is a wrapper operation rather than a wide alphabet. The Twitter/X style examples offer context for placing a monospace accent beside plain profile text.
Before You Paste
Fullwidth spaces and punctuation can change wrapping after paste, so review the complete heading in the destination rather than judging its width from this preview.
