Cursive Text
The first two selector options, Cursive and Bold Cursive, use script alphabets. The other two, Gothic and Bold Gothic, use Fraktur: half the choices are angular blackletter rather than cursive script.
| Style | Generated sample |
|---|---|
| Cursive | ℋℯ𝓁𝓁ℴ 123 |
| Bold Cursive | 𝓗𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓸 123 |
| Gothic | ℌ𝔢𝔩𝔩𝔬 123 |
| Bold Gothic | 𝕳𝖊𝖑𝖑𝖔 123 |
Script Is Different from Fraktur
Script has flowing letterforms; Fraktur has angular blackletter forms. Bold Fraktur is the heavier blackletter option. Double-struck is another family entirely, not a kind of Fraktur. Compare the generated examples before choosing.
Letterlike Exceptions
Some script letters occupy older Letterlike Symbols assignments: script capital B is ℬ (U+212C), and script small e is ℯ (U+212F). A converter cannot map the whole alphabet with one uninterrupted numeric offset. This tool uses the assigned exceptions.
Working with Names
Try a short decorative phrase while keeping the actual name readable in ordinary text. Script alphabets do not provide a matching cursive form for every accent, script or digit. Retain the original spelling when a transformation would make a name harder to identify. Use real font styling when you control the document layout.
The Script Letters Outside the Main Alphabet
Regular Cursive converts every basic Latin letter, but eleven results use Letterlike Symbols instead of the main mathematical script sequence. Here is the complete exception list from the engine's alphabet conversion:
| Input | Output | Code point |
|---|---|---|
| B | ℬ | U+212C |
| E | ℰ | U+2130 |
| F | ℱ | U+2131 |
| H | ℋ | U+210B |
| I | ℐ | U+2110 |
| L | ℒ | U+2112 |
| M | ℳ | U+2133 |
| R | ℛ | U+211B |
| e | ℯ | U+212F |
| g | ℊ | U+210A |
| o | ℴ | U+2134 |
Bold Cursive follows continuous ranges: capitals are U+1D4D0–U+1D4E9 and lowercase letters are U+1D4EA–U+1D503. It does not reuse the regular script exceptions. Switching between these two choices therefore changes character assignments as well as the apparent stroke weight.
Across all four selector options, digits and ASCII punctuation stay ordinary. A phrase ending in 123 keeps those three digits, even when every preceding Latin letter changes. Precomposed é and the sample Chinese character 中 also pass through without substitution; the converter does not transliterate them into a script alphabet. Use the cursive bio and tagline examples for Twitter/X to compare a short script segment with plain surrounding words.
Before You Paste
Check script capitals individually after pasting; a font may draw the mathematical letters yet lack one of the Letterlike Symbols used in the same word.
